Pep, we all are so proud of you. You’re not just a manager, you were.. no, you are so much more. When we become a culé, it’s like we become a family and you’re the father. Like a best friend. Yesterday was so emotional and I think I can speak for so many people. But I have no more words to say, just THANK YOU, thank you for everything. We hope the best for you, but we also hope you’ll come back one day and everything will be like before. Because the Camp Nou isn’t the Camp Nou without you.

…And so Pep walked with those dearest to him, one last time around the Camp Nou. “Everything here was so amazing, and will continue to be.” He sighed as he placed his hands over his face, shedding a small tear. His daughter hugged his waist tight, upset at her father’s sadness. “It’s not over, dad.” She replied, optimistic, hoping to cheer him up. Pep bent down to look her into the eyes of a young child who had discovered the tight knit community of Barcelona fans; growing up, with the strong admiration to be just like them. “I know princess, I know,” he mumbled as he kissed her head softly. Pep stood up, and held his daughter’s hand in his. Carefully moving his thumb over the small goosebumps she had received from her father’s chillingly raw reaction. “We’ll be back…One day.”
